Tournament Expectations

To ensure a safe, fun, and respectful environment for all teams, families, and spectators, please review the following important guidelines:

 

 

 Dogs at the Ballfields

 

 

Please be advised that dogs are not permitted at the tournament ballfields. City bylaw officers have previously attended events and issued tickets. If you choose to bring a dog, you do so at your own risk and are fully responsible for any fines issued.

 

 

 Parking & Overnight Camping

 

 

Parking regulations will be strictly enforced.

 

  • Vehicles parked illegally may be ticketed or towed.

  • There is no overnight camping permitted in parking lots.

  • Trailers and RVs improperly parked may be required to move or risk ticketing and towing.

 

 

Please park responsibly and follow all posted signage.

 

 

 Outside Alcohol – Zero Tolerance (Fields M1–M4)

 

 

There is zero tolerance for bringing outside alcohol into the ballpark, including Fields M1–M4.

Anyone found violating this rule will face immediate consequences, which may include removal from the facility and further disciplinary action.

 

 

 Respect for Umpires & Officials

 

 

We expect all players, coaches, and spectators to treat umpires and tournament officials with respect.

 

  • No foul language

  • No aggressive or abusive behavior

  • No harassment of officials

 

 

Unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated and may result in warnings, ejections, or removal from the tournament.

 Respect the Facility

 

 

Please be respectful of the Mission sports facility. After your team plays:

 

  • Clean up your dugout area

  • Remove all garbage

  • Dispose of any cups or beverage containers properly

Can i bring outside alcohol to the tournament?

No, outside alcohol is not permitted on the tournament premises. Please respect this rule to ensure a safe and enjoyable event for all participants.

Are pets allowed at the tournament?

Pets are not permitted at the tournament. If you choose to bring pets, it is at your own risk, and bylaw officers will be monitoring the parking areas.

What are the expectations regarding field cleanliness?

Please help us keep the fields clean. Dispose of all trash in designated bins and leave the playing areas as you found them.

How should we interact with the umpires?

We ask all participants to show respect to the umpires at all times. Their decisions are final, and courteous conduct is expected from everyone.

What rules govern the gameplay?

All games will follow NSA rules, with specific Nemesis Ice-Breaker house rules also applying. Please refer to the full "Tournament Rules" page for detailed information.

Will there be food and beverages available?

Yes, we will have a beer garden and a concession stand and several food trucks available for food and beverage purchases. Please support these vendors.

How can i get updates during the tournament?

Stay tuned to our social media channels and listen for announcements at the fields for real-time updates and schedule changes. Coaches will also receive important information in their coaches packages.

Who can i contact if i have an issue or question?

Please contact an event organizer (Cynthia or Quentin) or one of our volunteers  if you have any questions or encounter issues during the tournament. Their contact information can be found in your coaches package or at the main event tent.
